Application
Depending on the university and programme you are applying to, UK university requirements may change. Your educational background, language proficiency, experience, and credentials can be taken into consideration.
You must pass an English language test if you wish to study in the UK and English isn't your native tongue. Universities typically state the test they favour and the outcomes they require. IELTS is the English proficiency test that is most frequently required, followed by either the PTE Academic or English Advanced. Students can attend IELTs centres and language centres all around the world to get prepare for these exams.
UK Universities will assess you based on any of the following:
- Pre-university degree or high school grades from your own country
- linguistic proficiency in English
- English language exams (if applicable)
- university admissions tests (if applicable)
- Interview (if applicable)
- Work experience
- References
